What are the defects?

The amount of adhesive agent applied between the outer ring and torsional rubber damper of the crankshaft pulley may be insufficient.

What are the hazards?

There is a possibility that the defect may lead to abnormal noise or sudden illumination of the charging system warning light. In rare cases, the belt for the power steering pump may become detached from the pulley, which could result in a sudden unexpected increase in steering effort.
