phil&teds—Metoo Portable High Chair

Identifying features

Each unit has a date code label sewn into the seam on the underside of the seat base.

What are the defects?

The clamps require a rubberised sheath to improve the amount of grip they provide and to allow users to tighten them sufficiently. If not clamped fully, the chair can detach from the table top.

What are the hazards?

If users fail to tighten the clamps fully, the chair may detach from the table top resulting in serious injury to the infant. To date there have been 10 complaints from users in the USA of clamps slipping.

What should consumers do?

Consumers should contact Phil and Ted's to obtain a self-fit repair kit containing table clamp sheaths.
