Minister for Small Business, Michael McCormack, has today issued a proposed recall notice for a compulsory recall of all vehicles with defective Takata airbags installed, following an ACCC safety investigation.
A number of recalls have been announced in Australia for motor vehicles containing Takata airbags. These recalls affect a large number of car makes and models and a small number of motorcycles and trucks.
Decorative alcohol fuelled devices are designed for domestic use and produce a flame using alcohol as fuel. The devices are primarily used for decoration although larger models also may provide heating.
Consumers are being warned to check if they have the recalled Tolix replica chairs and stools, following continued reports of injuries due to an entrapment point and sharp edges at the base of the legs of the chairs.
